Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness Research - BuffEnuff® Could be an Effective Agent to Help Alleviate Exercise Soreness

To Compare the Effect of Vibration Therapy and Massage in Prevention of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)

Exciting research for people who swear by the BuffEnuff® Power Massager as their GO-TO RECOVERY TOOL!! In this dynamic study, 45 non-athletic female participants were assigned to three treatment groups to determine if there is any benefit from vibration therapy and massage after exercise. The three groups consisted of the following:

15 subjects received NO TREATMENT (CONTROL)

15 subjects received 5 minutes - VIBRATION THERAPY

15 subjects received 15 minutes - MASSAGE THERAPY

Participants were measured in the following areas:

1) Muscle Soreness   2) Range of Motion  3) Maximum Isometric Force (Strength)  4) Repetition Maximums  5) Lactate Dehydronase & Cretain Kinase - muscle waste products  

In the study, participants were measured in these parameters 24, 48, and 72 hours after exercise and the VIBRATION THERAPY & MASSAGE THERAPY groups showed significantly better responses to exercise with LESS PAIN, BETTER RANGE OF MOTION, MORE STRENGTH, and less MUSCLE WASTE PRODUCT RESIDUE.

As a result of this study, our suggestion to our tribe of BuffEnuff® Power Massager users is:

1- Be sure to always use it for a least 5 minutes after every exercise session.  

2- Drink 1 quart of purified water for every 50 lbs of body weight.

3- Apply BuffEnuff® when performing HINGING actions on joints and tissues to help facilitate flexibility.

4 - Use BuffEnuff® Power Massager on OFF days to help improve muscle strength and help aid tissue repair that results in improvements of strength.
